NYC’s Holiday Windows: A Decadence of Lights

By on

The holidays are always a bit magical, and the retail windows of New York City never fail to make even the most frozen passerby feel a sense of childlike wonder.

Manhattan’s shops are a veritable crème de la crème of decadent visual merchandising display in the retail world—and year after year, both New Yorkers and tourists alike flock to the city to take a moment to feel the magic. Here are a few of our favorites this year!

Saks Fifth Avenue on Fifth Avenue
This year Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store in New York City transformed into the Land of 1000 Delights for the holiday season.  This magical land encompasses colorful candy decor, breathtaking windows and a theatrical light show on Saks’ storefront.

Macy’s Herald Square
Since the 1800s, Macy’s has given life to their Herald Square’s windows during the holiday season. Guided by this year’s Believe theme, designer Roya Sullivan brought the North Pole to Macy’s storefront.
